WINTER GETAWAY

GEORGIA

18 - 24 MARCH

[ OVERVIEW ]
Georgia, Gudauri. A person snowboarding on a snowy mountain slope under a partly cloudy sky.

You’ve heard of snowboarding or skiing in Japan and France. But Georgia? Probably not. High in the Caucasus Mountains, Gudauri resort offers wide, uncrowded slopes, soft powder, and epic mountain views. No matter if you’re a beginner, or if you’re looking to go off-piste, Georgia has something for everyone. It’s literally a hidden gem.

And we’re not just here for the snow. Discover a country rich in history, culture, and one of the world’s oldest wine traditions. On the last day, we’ll swap our boards for a tour through the Kakheti region, tasting homemade wines, learning to make Churchkhela, and exploring charming towns like Sighnaghi. It’s adventure, culture, and flavour all in one.

Tour Itinerary

  • Meet your new travel pals at the airport, and we’ll hop onto our transfer to the Gudauri Ski Resort, where we’ll spend the next 3 days! Settle down before meeting for our first team dinner at night!

    Accoms: Hotel
    Meals: Dinner

  • We’ll spend the next three days carving our way down the pristine slopes of Gudauri, right outside our ski-in, ski-out resort. A half-day lesson is included for everyone, whether you’ve never touched a snowboard/ski, or can already pull off 360s. The maximum group size will be 4 of us to 1 instructor. Beginners will get a solid introduction with professional instructors, while the more experienced riders can join instructors on red or black slopes, or explore off-piste areas. Extra lessons can also be added on for the following days if you desire.

The rest of the time is yours to explore at your own pace. Challenge yourself on longer runs, glide through powder-filled trails, or simply soak in the alpine scenery. Every night, we will enjoy a hearty Georgian dinner. We can unwind by playing billiards, foosball, or just chill by the fireplace at our hotel.

Common Questions

[ FAQ ]
  • Please whatsapp us at +65 88196479 for the quote :)

  • This trip is for those who are adventurous, open-minded, and ready to immerse themselves in the wonders of nature and culture. Also, if:

    • You want to explore Georgia without worrying about the planning

    • You’re excited to meet like-minded travellers and embrace the unexpected

    • You want to ski/snowboard, and explore the Caucasus Mountains, but still come back to a hotel room each night.

If that sounds like you, get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
This trip is NOT for you if you

    • You are extremely risk-averse – We do our best to assess the risk and only work with vendors with years of experience and a good track record. However, as the tour involves adventurous outdoor activities, we are at the mercy of the weather, the terrain, and unpredictable accidents. If this scares you, this might not be the right trip for you.

    • You avoid physical activity – If a short flight of stairs leaves you breathless, you might struggle with the full days of snowboarding or skiing, and active nature of this trip. A basic level of fitness is required to fully enjoy the experience.

    • You struggle with unpredictability – Plans may shift due to weather or local conditions. If last-minute changes stress you out, this trip may be frustrating for you.

    • You have a ‘customer is always right’ mindset – We do our best to provide an amazing experience, but nature and logistics don’t always cooperate. The priority of our local guides is safety, and our team will not hesitate to take anyone out of the tour if the need arises.

  • We will send the exact flights upon sign up, but we are looking at Turkish Airlines:

    SG – Tbilisi 17 Mar 23:35 – 11:05am+1 (arrive in Tbilisi on 18th) includes 1 layover
    Tbilisi – SG 24 Mar 12:00pm – 08:45am+1 (Arrive in SG on 25th)

    Current price: S$976

  • Both beginners and experienced riders are welcome, as there are slopes for both levels. As this is still a physical activity, having a baseline level of fitness will help with enjoying the activity. You should also be able to carry and handle your own board and equipment up the slope

  • Temperatures are expected to range between -10 to 0. March is the best month to go, with the highest level of consistent snowfall and powder, and temperatures rising to milder levels compared to the previous months. The school holiday crowds have also gone, and we’ll have longer daylight hours to enjoy the slopes.

  • We’ll be staying in heated hotels the whole trip! Comfortable twin-sharing rooms with ensuite toilets, hairdryers, and amenities. There will also be a common area in the ski hotel, where we can hang out to play games in front of the fireplace.

  • If you take the recommended flights, we will meet at Changi airport! If not, we will meet you at Tbilisi.

  • Our participants are usually about 25-40 years old. We have both solo travellers and groups of friends join us. At the end, we all end up friends! We usually have more females than males.

  • We will issue a full refund of your deposit.

    1. You shall be entitled to the following refunds if you notify the Tour Agency of your withdrawal from the trip, based on the following notice periods:

      1. 90 days or more: Full refund, including your deposit, less a $200 administrative fee

      2. Between 31-90 days: 40% of the total trip cost

      3. 30 days or less: No refund

    2. Any amount to be refunded to you will be processed within 30 days from the date of cancellation.

    3. You acknowledge and agree that the fees associated with securing accommodations, flights, and other services for the trip may have already been paid to third-party vendors. You further acknowledge that the cancellation policy outlined herein is not intended as a penalty, but rather as a necessary provision to cover the costs incurred by the Tour Agency in arranging and securing these services on your behalf.

  • Minimum will be 8, maximum 16.

  • Children below 18 will also get to enjoy the slopes and activities. Just be aware that the drinking age in Georgia is 21 and above.

  • Unfortunately, we do not disclose that information. But rest assured, we will update all our participants on the status of the trip at least 3-4 months before. If the trip is cancelled due to insufficient sign ups, we will issue a full refund of your deposit.

  • Trips to interesting and unique destinations are more fun with a big group! But not everyone has friends that are willing to jump onto an adventure at a moments notice. We planned this community trip so you can meet other fellow adventurers from different walks of life that are equally passionate about travel. There’s also safety in numbers, and our team on the ground will lookout for each and every one of you 🙂

What’s more, our TTI Experiences team will be on the ground capturing different moments from the trip. We’ll be sharing some edited photos for you to remember all the small, the epic, and the silly moments
